Springing Forward in Basel: Our Showcase at the health.tech Global Summit 2026
Our team packed our bags (and some early Easter treats!) and headed to Basel for the health.tech Global Summit 2026.

As a global hub for life sciences and medical innovation, Basel was the perfect backdrop to showcase how we are democratising clinical research and remote health monitoring. The energy at the venue was palpable from the moment we walked through the brilliantly lit pink and purple doors, and we couldn't wait to dive into the action.
Booth 15: Remote Monitoring Made Easy
Our booth quickly became a hub of activity on the exhibition floor! We loved giving attendees a behind-the-scenes look at our technology. On our screens, we showcased the nuances of the Onsentia platform, demonstrating how seamless it is to set up study parameters, configure app logic, and integrate wearable devices.
Our message to the attendees was simple: Decentralised Clinical Trials Made Easy.
Of course, the networking was made even sweeter by the Lindt Easter chocolates on our table, with our festive bunny basket keeping a watchful eye over the smartwatches and trackers we had on display!
Taking the Stage: Solving 'The Billion $ Bottleneck'
A major highlight of the event was taking the stage at the Startup Studio. We presented on a critical challenge currently facing the medical research industry: "The Billion $ Bottleneck."
As highlighted in our startup pitch, we are facing an aging global population and a surge in chronic conditions, such as cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. This growing health crisis is driving the clinical trial market toward nearly $100 billion by 2034. Traditional, in-person research methods simply cannot scale to meet this demand.
We shared Onsentia's vision for overcoming this bottleneck. By leveraging mobile health technology, smartphones, and wearables, we can collect high-quality, continuous, real-world data at scale. It was a fantastic opportunity to highlight how our platform eliminates the technical and operational barriers for clinical trials, paving the way for truly decentralised and efficient trials.
Connecting with the Community
Beyond the pitch and the live demos, the best part of the Health Tech Global Summit was the people. The exhibition floor was buzzing with brilliant minds, and we had countless inspiring conversations right off the stage and around our booth. Connecting with fellow innovators, potential partners, and researchers who are just as passionate about the future of digital health as we are reminds us exactly why we do what we do.
