Bringing Onsentia to the forefront of Tech innovation: Reflections from Web Summit

On Day 4, we officially unveiled the Onsentia platform, connecting with hundreds of attendees and participating in a full day of Health Summit sessions that explored the future of technology and healthcare.

Key moments included previews of upcoming predictive features and new women’s health research from Tim Hale of Oura, along with memorable Centre Stage appearances by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Tim Berners-Lee. We also loved sharing a bit of Onsentia with the community through merch giveaways, including t-shirts and tote bags.

At our booth, the team presented Onsentia’s remote wearable data-collection software, introducing new features designed to support research groups, clinical trials, and wearable device developers with real-time, high-quality, population-scale data collection, standardisation and analysis. We also shared RADAR-base, the open-source foundation for our platform, exploring collaborative opportunities. We were thrilled by the interest, meaningful discussions, and potential partnerships that emerged. 

A significant trend we observed this year was the strong presence of AI-driven health solutions. Many of the tools and technologies we saw sparked ideas for how AI could enhance Onsentia’s platform. These insights have already shaped our thinking on several new feature directions, which will be released early in the new year. 

This was also a milestone for us: our first time presenting Onsentia in a physical setting. Until now, our presence has been digital: web, LinkedIn, and remote collaborations. Being in Lisbon, setting up our booth, demonstrating our devices, and meeting people face-to-face made the journey feel very real and very rewarding. 

It was a learning-filled four days, and we’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited our booth, shared ideas, and sparked new connections. And of course, thank you to the Web Summit team for organising such an inspiring event. We’ve returned home motivated and energised to keep building. With the feedback we received and the insights we gained, we’re refining our roadmap and continuing work toward our upcoming prototype launch. Stay tuned! Exciting things are on the way!
